About:

23, UCLA alumna. INFJ. American Japanese. I believe in love & music & human: rights, liberties, diginity, and compassion.

-

My life dream is to make the world a little bit kinder/better. I love traveling, flowers (roses, peonies, gerbera daisies, ranunculus, camellias, cherry blossoms, wisteria), and lingerie (Agent Provocateur).

-

Places that make me smile: bookstores, art museums, cozy cafes, beds, sunsets, city lights, gardens, beautiful restaurants. If you take me to one of these places I am 50x more likely to fall in love with you.

-

Places that have parts of my heart: Tokyo, SF, LA, the NOS Center, Griffith Observatory

-

How to seduce me: play guitar & sing to me, make something out of words or music just for me (love letters, song lyrics, music), D&G Light Blue Pour Homme cologne, hotel beds, roll up your sleeves/loosen your tie in front of me, be emotionally self-aware, be moved by music and outer space/the sky, kiss me tenderly against a wall.

-

Some things I like: the sky & stars & planets & clouds, bunnies, strawberry shortcake, the physical act of writing, carefully chosen words, visually beautiful movies, cheesecake, the sound of taiko drums, dressing up, photo shoots, sunny sunday brunches, tiramisu, letterpressed greeting cards, Impressionist paintings (esp. Monet), reading in bed, long phone calls, chance encounters, Snow White, garter stockings (esp. with back seams), Above & Beyond, kimono (esp. furisode), deep bass that pounds through my bones and touches my heart, strawberry parfaits, Tritonal, matching couple or friendship tokens & outfits, lasers, Alice (of Wonderland), instax photos, chantilly lace, bokeh, Cinderella, holographic glitter, logically sound arguments, being true to your feelings, Krewella, white shadow stripe sheets, strawberry shortcake ice cream bars (from either Good Humor or Milk LA), Hubert's strawberry lemonade, legal pads, academic regalia, Vermeer paintings, emotional vulnerability, cut flower bouquets, tasting menus, passionate people, classical music in Ubers, Gareth Emery vocal trance, 0.5mm pens, traveling alone, POC/WOC representation in media/positions of power/the music industry

-

Favorite movies: The Great Gatsby (I have a thing for delusional characters in aesthetically beautiful films), The Grand Budapest Hotel (same as Gatsby), Lost in Translation (perfectly captures the slight lonely nostalgia + indescribable attachment I have to Tokyo), Howl's Moving Castle (even though Howl is objectively a gross person I'm a little in love with him), Roman Holiday, Legally Blonde, Requiem for a Dream (tore my heart apart and weighed me down for a week. drugs are terrifying), Room (tore my heart apart but left me weightless afterwards. people are terrifying), La La Land (completely mediocre as an actual movie, but gave me so much needed closure).

-

Dislikes: halfheartedness, misogyny, frosty lipstick, wearing pants, cracked phone screens, illogical arguments (if ur going to argue w/ me pls make sense & not just scream at me thx), people that look down on &/or are rude to service workers &/or sex workers, when people put down others (esp. about superficial traits) to feel better about themselves, ticket scalpers, when people steal art (music, film, drawings etc. w/out paying for it), escapism, drugs
